Today is World Book Day and I wanted to remind you that as well as having tons of useful resources for teaching and learning, the Library also have some other services you might want to check out…

We have a fiction collection in the Library and a relaxation areas with chairs and beanbags where you can sit and read in comfort.

Next to the relaxation area you will also find a book swap box. Come along and take a free book from the box. If you have any old novels at home that you no longer want then why not bring those in and put them in the box for someone else to read.

We also have an area dedicated to reading for pleasure on the VLE, The Reading Room.

There are lots of opportunities to discuss what you are reading, what you have read and enjoyed, film adaptations of books and lots more.

To celebrate World Book Day on 4th March a new range of Quick Reads has been released and are now available in the Library.

"They are ideal for regular readers wanting a short, fast read, and for those who have lost the reading habit or find reading tough. They are short, sharp shots of entertainment."  (find out more here)
